Born in the Desert, Guided by Tradition
My name is Lahssen, and I come from a nomadic family in Foum Zguid, where I grew up surrounded by the vast landscapes of the Moroccan Sahara. The desert has been an important part of my life since childhood. It is a place where I learned to appreciate nature, simplicity, hospitality and the traditions passed down from one generation to another.
For me, the desert is much more than a landscape of sand and dunes. It is a place of peace, connection and discovery, where travelers can step away from the rhythm of everyday life and experience a different way of living.
Through Iriki Desert Tours, my goal is to share this special part of Morocco with travelers looking for authentic experiences, while introducing them to the culture, landscapes and traditions that have shaped my life.

Iriki Desert Tours was created from a deep connection with the desert and a desire to share the authentic side of Foum Zguid and the Sahara with travelers from around the world.
Based in Foum Zguid, our experiences take you beyond the usual tourist routes and into landscapes where dunes, oases, dry plains and remote villages create a truly unique environment. We organize desert stays, Sahara trekking, day excursions and multi-day Morocco tours, allowing travelers to discover the region at their own pace.
Our approach is simple: travel with local people, discover real places and experience the desert in an authentic way. Rather than simply visiting the Sahara, we want our guests to understand its landscapes, meet its people and experience the traditions that continue to shape life in this region.
