Experience a 3-day desert journey from Marrakech to the majestic Erg Chegaga dunes, traveling by 4x4 through the Atlas Mountains, Foum Zguid, and the wild landscapes of Lake Iriki. Along the way, discover the changing scenery of southern Morocco and spend your first night at the Erg El Mhazil bivouac.
Continue towards Erg Chegaga, with a visit to a nomadic school to discover local desert life and a lunch stop in a green oasis. Upon reaching the impressive dunes, enjoy time to relax and explore before spending the night in a traditional desert bivouac under the stars.
On the final day, return to Marrakech through the Drâa Valley, with stops at M’Hamid El Ghizlane, the palm groves, and the pottery village of Tamegroute.

Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Foum Zguid – Erg El Mhazil
Depart early from Marrakech by 4x4 and travel towards the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, enjoying the spectacular landscapes of the Atlas Mountains before continuing towards Tazenakht.
After a lunch stop along the way, arrive in Foum Zguid for a relaxing tea break. Continue the adventure across the wild landscapes of the dry Lake Iriki towards the Erg El Mhazil bivouac.
At the end of the day, enjoy the sunset over the dunes, followed by a warm dinner around the campfire and a peaceful night in Sahara tents.
Day 2: Erg El Mhazil – Erg Chegaga
Day 3: Erg Chegaga – Drâa Valley – Marrakech
Start the day by watching the sunrise over the Djebel Bani massif, followed by a typical breakfast.
Begin the return journey towards Marrakech through the Drâa Valley, with stops at M’Hamid El Ghizlane, the palm groves, and the pottery village of Tamegroute.
After lunch in the region, continue the journey back to Marrakech, arriving by the end of the day.
