Day 1: Foum Zguid – Erg Chegaga

In the early afternoon, depart from Foum Zguid by 4x4 for an unforgettable journey across the arid plains of Iriki. After around 2 hours and 30 minutes, the landscape gradually changes, with the Djebel Bani in the distance and the first sandy landscapes of the Sahara appearing along the way.

Continue towards the impressive Erg Chegaga dunes, home to some of the most spectacular sand landscapes in the region. Once you arrive at the bivouac, take time to relax or explore the surroundings.

At the end of the day, enjoy a camel ride through the dunes and admire the magical desert sunset. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner around the campfire, followed by a peaceful night in comfortable nomadic tents.

Day 2: Erg Chegaga – Foum Zguid

Wake up to the first rays of sunlight over the golden sands and enjoy a local breakfast in the desert.

Then, begin the return journey to Foum Zguid by 4x4, crossing the fascinating landscapes of Iriki once again. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and wild beauty of the desert before arriving in Foum Zguid by the end of the morning.
