Itinerary

Day 1: Foum Zguid – Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi

In the early afternoon, depart from Foum Zguid by 4x4 and cross the vast desert landscapes of the dry Lake Iriki. Upon arrival at the desert bivouac, take some time to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Climb the highest dune to admire the sunset or enjoy a camel ride through the desert. In the evening, gather around the campfire for a convivial dinner before spending a peaceful night in the desert camp tents.

Day 2: Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi – Nomadic School – Erg Chegaga

Wake up to the sunrise and enjoy a traditional breakfast before discovering the oasis of Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi and experiencing the daily life of the nomads.

Continue by 4x4 towards Erg Chegaga, stopping at a nomadic school for an authentic exchange about education in the desert.

Upon reaching the Erg Chegaga dunes, enjoy a camel ride at sunset. In the evening, have dinner around the campfire, enjoy traditional music, and admire the star-filled sky before spending the night under the desert sky.

Day 3: Erg Chegaga – Lake Iriki – Foum Zguid

Start the morning with a sunrise walk and observe camels moving freely through the dunes.

Then, begin the return journey by 4x4 towards Foum Zguid, crossing the varied landscapes and peaceful plains of the Iriki desert. Arrive in Foum Zguid by the end of the morning.
