Experience an authentic 3-day trekking adventure in the Moroccan Sahara, starting from Foum Zguid and exploring the wild landscapes of Iriki National Park. Travel by 4x4 through vast plains and discover the spectacular rocky formations known as the “Colorado of the Moroccan Desert” before reaching the first dunes of Erg El Mhazil.
Spend your first night surrounded by the silence of the desert, enjoying a sunset over the dunes, dinner around the campfire, and a peaceful night under the star-filled sky.
On the second day, begin your real trekking adventure and walk for approximately 4 hours through the Sahara towards Erg El Ghoule, accompanied by a camel caravan carrying the food and camping equipment. Discover the beauty, silence, and hidden life of the desert before enjoying a traditional nomadic evening around the campfire with music.
Finish your journey with one final desert sunrise before returning by 4x4 through Iriki National Park to Foum Zguid.

Itinerary
Day 1: Foum Zguid – Erg El Mhazil
Depart from Foum Zguid in the early afternoon and travel by 4x4 into Iriki National Park. Cross its vast plains and varied landscapes while approaching the impressive rocky formations often known as the “Colorado of the Moroccan Desert.”
Take time to stop and admire these remarkable plateau-shaped rocks rising from the flat desert landscape.
Continue towards the first dunes of the Sahara and reach Erg El Mhazil, where the team will have prepared the camp for your first night.
Enjoy the sunset over the sea of dunes before gathering around the campfire for dinner. Look up to admire the bright star-filled desert sky and spend a peaceful night surrounded by the silence of the Sahara.
