Morning – Foum Zguid to Laarjimia Oasis

Depart from your hotel in Foum Zguid in a 4x4 and follow the desert track towards the mountains of Madouar El Kbir, also known as the “Colorado of the Moroccan Desert.”

Admire the impressive plateau-shaped formations rising dramatically from the vast surrounding plains.

Continue to Laarjimia Oasis, where you can enjoy the cool shade of the date palms, admire the mountains, and perhaps observe animals coming to drink from the well.

Midday – Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi

Continue by 4x4 to Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi, the home village of the nomadic team of Iriki Desert Tours.

Explore the oasis and its traditional agriculture, visit the village, and discover the tomb of Marabout Sidi Abdenabi.

Afternoon – Erg El Mhazil

After lunch, continue by 4x4 towards the dunes of Erg El Mhazil.

Discover the first fine sandy dunes of the Sahara and take some time to enjoy the peace and serenity of the desert.

End of the Day – Fossil Site & Foum Zguid

Begin the return journey towards Foum Zguid.

Along the way, make a stop to observe prehistoric fossils, remnants of the region's ancient aquatic life, before continuing to your hotel in Foum Zguid.
