Enjoy a camel ride at sunset, traditional dinner, music around the campfire and a night in a desert bivouac.

Continue towards Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before discovering Telouet Kasbah in the Atlas Mountains.

Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Tazenakht – Foum Zguid

Depart from Marrakech in the morning with your private vehicle and driver.

Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi N’Tichka Pass, enjoying the changing landscapes before descending towards the Berber regions of southern Morocco.

Continue towards Tazenakht, famous for its traditional Moroccan carpets and artisanal craftsmanship.

Arrive in Foum Zguid in the late afternoon and check in at a charming riad.

Enjoy some free time to explore the palm grove, peaceful streets and old kasbah before having an authentic Moroccan dinner and spending the night comfortably in Foum Zguid.

Day 2: Foum Zguid – Lake Iriki – Erg Chegaga

After breakfast, begin your Sahara adventure by 4x4.

Cross the wild landscapes of Lake Iriki, passing through remote desert scenery and an oasis with views towards the mountains known as the “Moroccan Colorado.”

Along the way, discover a fascinating site containing ancient marine fossils, evidence of the region’s distant geological past.

Continue towards the magnificent Erg Chegaga dunes, one of the most spectacular dune areas in the Moroccan Sahara.

After arriving at the bivouac, take time to relax and explore the surroundings. Climb the great dunes and admire the panoramic desert views.

At sunset, enjoy a memorable camel ride through the dunes.

Return to the camp for a traditional Sahara dinner, followed by an evening of music around the fire and a peaceful night under the stars.

Day 3: Erg Chegaga – Foum Zguid – Tazenakht – Ait Ben Haddou

Wake up in the heart of the dunes and enjoy breakfast in the open air.

Begin the return journey by 4x4 towards Foum Zguid, crossing the vast landscapes of the Iriki desert with opportunities to stop for photographs.

Continue towards Tazenakht, where you will have lunch and visit a traditional weaving workshop to discover local craftsmanship.

In the afternoon, continue towards Ait Ben Haddou.

Visit this famous fortified village, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and known as a filming location for numerous international productions.

Check in at your hotel, enjoy the views, dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 4: Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech

After breakfast with panoramic views, leave Ait Ben Haddou and travel towards Telouet.

Discover the historic Telouet Kasbah, a remarkable former residence of the Glaoui family and one of the hidden architectural treasures of the Atlas Mountains.

Enjoy a free or guided visit before continuing your journey through the High Atlas.

Stop for lunch along the way, then cross the Tizi N’Tichka Pass once again on your way back to Marrakech.

Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, with transfer to your hotel or the airport marking the end of your 4-day Sahara and Kasbahs adventure.
